Diaphragmic Breathing and Poses for Meditation
As we introduce new elements to our workouts, we will be posting more and more resources on this page to help guide and improve your experience.
The addition of post-workout breathing exercises to our classes is a short but much-needed cooldown period that encourages participants to take some time to steady their breathing and meditate. These breathing exercises require breathing from the diaphragm also known as “Belly Breathing” rather than the more shallow chest breathing. A great guide to this deeper breathing was posted by Benefis Theatre School of Moscow and can be found >HERE<.
In addition to the post-workout breathing exercises, we invite you to review the following guide to 7 Best Poses for Meditation by Ruslan Tsverkun. (text in Russian) >CLICK HERE<
